This set of books was optimistically advertised as "Very Good." The covers are sticky and slightly dirty, and one is stained. It ought to have been judged by the seller as "Adequate."
My daughters has an original Samantha doll and wanted these original books to read to her daughter!

This is my granddaughter's introduction to an American Girl series. She even goes to bed 15 minutes early so she has pleanty of time to read. She's on the 4th book and I'm looking into which series to buy next. She loves it. And like all American girl stories, the stories are told imparting touch choices and female heroes.
